Users must be enrolled in DUO Two Factor Authentication (2FA). If you are not registered for DUO, during the password reset workflow the system will ask you register and help you set up your DUO Two Factor Authentication.
For those who have been migrated to UCMED, you will need to prefix your logon ID with UCHAD\. Migrated users may mistakenly log into Citrix with UCMED\, which will result in a view in Citrix that does not show their proper icons.
UCM VPN — Cisco AnyConnect VPN
Access to the UCM VPN should only be conducted with a UCM managed device adhering to the organization’s cyber security policies. If you are not using a UCM managed device, please login to Intranet & UCM Applications.
All VPN services also require 2FA.
Remote access to your email, the intranet, and other University of Chicago Medicine (UCM) applications remains subject to the applicable UCM policies, including, without limitation, Email and Voicemail Use and Privacy (Admin 06-11) and Security over Access Permission to UCM Data, Computing and Communications Resources (Admin 06-16).
Haiku and Canto provide authorized users of UCM's Electronic Record with secure access to patient charts from their mobile devices. Haiku is the smartphone app available for iOS and Android devices. Canto is a tablet app currently available for iPad only.
From your mobile device, please follow the steps below.
Step 1. Install Haiku or Canto from the App Store or Google Play Store. You can install from the buttons below:
After installation, open the app - the end user license agreement must be reviewed and agreed to in order to continue.
Step 2. Configure your application for UCM Epic. The links below will work from your mobile device only (will not work on PC/Mac). These links configure the Haiku/Canto applications to UCM's instance of Epic.
Step 3. From your mobile device, use your Epic credentials to log into Haiku or Canto.
